Name: Park Jungsu
Nickname: Leeteuk
Gender: Male
Orientation: Straight as a hula hoop
Race: Pureblood Vampire, Clan 3
Occupation: Police officer/undercover agent
Likes: Hunting, drinking blood, playing with people, white, Hot chocolate, fluffy things, knives, looking presentable
Dislikes: Not being in control, trusting others with things important to him (his wellbeing), humans who act like they're superior, hunters, being interrupted in the middle of a game/meal,
Personality: Leeteuk is a very manipulative vampire. He enjoys using his appearance to lure his bait and play with them before partaking from their neck. Because of his career, he is able to drink and kill humans quite often while using it as a cover.
He has a vulnerable side as well, but it is rarely seen and when an unlucky individual does happen to catch him in a state in which he is not in control, that person can be sure that Leeteuk will come and hunt them down.
In general, Leeteuk is not very trusting of others, nor does he respect them (inwardly) unless they can earn his respect. He values people who do not give up, no matter how bad their situation is- one must keep fighting to survive.
View on humans: Food. They are lower on the food chain and are thus inferior to vampires. All humans should be under the rule of vampires, including the impurities (half-bloods.) Leeteuk does not have any respect for half-blooded and turned vampires.
Backstory: Will be updated at a later date. However, I will mention that once upon a time, Leeteuk had a traumatic run in with some hunters (carrying the hep-V) strain and thus he has become extremely wary of the hunters ever since. They treated him badly and, with their faces burned into his memory, Leeteuk intends to go and play with every single one before killing them.
From that experience, Leeteuk has also discovered that he is quite sensitive to hep-V and it affects him much more than it should...

Dislikes: being told he can’t do something, alcohol, not being able to protect his friends,
Personality: Leeteuk is quite a cheerful person at all times. He likes laughing and having fun, trying to cover up the horrors he sees by talking about different subjects. People who have met him often most remember his smile, which is bright and unrestrained, something he bestows freely upon others. Never one for depressing topics, Leeteuk will interrupt whoever is talking, unless it is something important in which case he’ll fall silent.
Leeteuk created a mask for himself, fabricating a façade that is silly and horrible at keeping secrets. Most of the time, he exists in this persona, always trying to make others laugh and take care of them. In truth, he has gotten to the point at which he himself is finding it hard to distinguish between his guise and himself, leaving him feeling insecure and melancholy when he is by himself. As much as he tries, he does not know how to be himself when he was with other people.
Although he enjoys taking care of other people (and he does enjoy it a lot), Leeteuk actually does not like being taken care of. He will not mention if he is injured or sick (because Leeteuk is rather sickly, falling ill often) unless necessary. When in pain, he will just bite down on his lips and bear it, preferring to suffer in silence rather than attracting attention.
At times, when he cannot sleep at night, Leeteuk will sit on his bed and reminisce about the past, before he ever was involved in gangs. And though he may brush other people away, really, he longs for someone to hold him and tell him that he made the right decisions because to this day, he isn’t sure he did. And it is that doubt that causes his breath to hitch every time he has to kill someone, and to sit with the blankets over his head, hands trembling, wondering if he can do it again.
But he always does. And for that, he hates himself.
Background History: (sorry, it's a bit long, bear with me please :3)
There was a time, he remembers, before everything became complicated. A time in which he lived happily along with his parents, sister and grandmother. Leeteuk always recalls this childhood of his with a bitter smile, because all it took was one misplaced bomb to destroy.
Leeteuk grew up as a normal child who had loving parents, a doting grandmother and who went to school at an ordinary school. He was not the top of the class, nor the bottom, but was content to be somewhere in the middle. Known for his charming smile (and the dimple that could drown a girl), he had many friends and was adored by the teachers.
Months before his thirteenth birthday, Leeteuk was suddenly called to the principal’s office one day to be greeted by his sobbing sister. Confused, he turned to the principal who with two short sentences shattered the comfortable life he had known.
“I’m sorry. They’re dead.”
Later, his sister would lock herself away, screaming and pounding the walls while he hid in the corner of the shelter they were sent to, eyes wide with fear. Some days she was calmer, and would pull him into her embrace, both too scared to talk. Faced with an uncertain future, with no one to protect them, they ran away from the shelter, looking for answers that no one there could provide.
At the time he was not aware, but his sister, who would disappear off into the night by herself, had already identified their parents’ killer- assassins of the Kim who had placed the bomb in the wrong house. The accident had been written off as the result of leaving the gas stove on when in fact it was simply the cover to a darker secret. Spurred by this new information, his sister secretly joined the Lee gang by acting as a spy.
When he was fifteen, there was a break-in in the middle of the night. Two Kim gang members had discovered the small apartment they had rented and under the command of the higher above, were sent to kill his sister. Aware of the situation, she turned off all the lights and told him to hide in the closet, where she would be safe. At this point, she whispered to him everything that had happened within the last two and a half years- how she was a spy and that the people coming were there to kill her. Shocked, he could only stare as she pushed him in.
From the shouts he heard and the view he had from a crack, Leeteuk could make out his sister trying to defend against two dark shapes lurking in the darkness. She managed to take one down, but in the process was stabbed by the other. Unable to stand it anymore, Leeteuk threw open the doors and grabbed a gun that had fallen and skidded near him. As he pointed it at the woman in black, she pulled of her mask to reveal his elementary school teacher, one that all the students including Leeteuk had loved.
“Poor boy,” she said, inching closing to him. “You felt the significance of your parents’ lives when they died, didn’t you? And now, knowing that significance, how can you take one away?”
His hands shook uncontrollably as tears made their way down his cheeks. She got closer and closer until it seemed she could reach out her hands and embrace him. But one look at his sister, almost completely still on the floor with blood still gushing out, and his heart hardened. He pulled the trigger, watching as the woman’s eyes widened before she fell to the ground, dropping the knife she had hidden behind her back.
Leeteuk crawled to his sister’s side, but it was obvious it was too late. Sobbing, he clutched her to his chest, begging her not to leave him. Gasping, his sister reached up and brushed away his tears. “Poor Jungsu,” she whispered, “I never…wanted you to kill with those hands…now…stained red. And…they’ll be looking for you. Run away, Jungsu. Leave…behind this bloodshed and…live purely.”
One of the hardest things Leeteuk ever did was leave his sister’s body and run away. And even as his tears created salty paths down his cheeks, he knew, deep in his heart, that he could never fulfill that promise he made his sister. Soon after, he managed to get in contact with the Lee gang using an alias so nobody would recognize him and started his training to become a spy. At the hardest times when he just wanted to give up, the empty stare of his sister’s eyes as she laid there and watched him run burned in his mind and he would pick himself off the ground, swearing that until he could become strong enough that no one he loved would ever be killed again, he would never give up.
Weaknesses: Leeteuk suffers from clinical depression at times and is claustrophobic. He also feels extremely uncomfortable and paranoid in the dark, tending to keep his hands tightly wrapped around his wires.
Other: It takes a lot of time before Leeteuk’s mask will start chipping away. To this day, there is nobody with whom he has shared his background or his darkest thoughts. Sometimes one may catch him staring forlornly, but he will only smile sadly if one questions him about it.

Emotions of your character...
~Write a sentence or two on how your character will react when in a given situation~
During a rainy day: sit in a corner of the library with a good book and a warm cup of tea, staring out the window. Leeteuk likes the rain, just not being in it.
When in a cheerful mood: laugh and talk a lot
When annoyed: become quieter and lose his smile slightly (his dimple will disappear).
When aggravated: lock himself away from other people and try to calm down or if that is not possible, simply stare at the person/people/situation. If it is something that really bothered him, Leeteuk will dig his nails into his arms, often hard enough to draw blood.
When feeling confused: listen to other people and try to figure it out. Or, ask someone discreetly.
When trying to profess love: stumble and stutter over his words, blushing furiously the entire time.
After making a fool of oneself: laugh along with other people.
When seeing something embarrassing: pretend not to see it or turn away with a slight smile on his face.
When accused of doing something the character did not do: Start protesting his innocence
When in danger: keep one hand on his weapon, look around for possible escape routes. Leeteuk is not one to panic so he would act calmly and efficiently in order to avoid fighting and escape.
When character’s friend is in danger: Find a way to protect them and make sure they attain the least possible amount of damage, even if he has to sacrifice himself in the process.
When a loved one dies: become mute from shock, hide somewhere no one can find him and sit there numbly until at last, the tears fall. Leeteuk might also stop responding and taking care of himself, shutting down in order to try and block off those emotions.
Before a battle: examine the area carefully, noting down the layout and seeing whether there is anything he can use to his advantage.
Witnessing the death of someone: close his eyes and then turn away.
When dying: Reach out blindly and say, softly, “I’m so sorry…I tried.”
Also, if you have any suggestions regarding his past, present or future developments, I would be happy to hear different opinions (particularly if they involve other characters).
...by the way, I have never roleplayed before so I'm not really sure how it works...hopefully I'll figure it out along the way ^_^ but please do forgive me if I make mistakes

Name: Leeteuk (previously Park Jungsu)
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Race: Gifted
Occupation: Math Teacher
Institution: NamSam Jong High
Gift: Flight
Description: Leeteuk has the ability to fly (from levitation in his human state to morphing into a bird completely). While he isn’t always keen on showing off this ability due to somewhat traumatic childhood experiences, he will occasionally do so for convenience. It is very rare, however, that he will change into a bird because of how physically exhausting it is, to the point in which he’ll sometimes faint mid-flight if he isn’t careful. When this happens, he will revert back to human form.
<<<He can levitate for hours with short breaks in between, stay in “Angel” form for about an hour or so and become a bird for 30 minutes. He is currently working on increasing the amount of time for all three though and hopes in the future that he will be able to be a bird for at least an hour.>>>
Personality: Leeteuk tends to be pretty easy-going as a teacher which makes him quite popular with the students. He is usually cheerful and loves having fun. When he needs to be, however, Leeteuk can become quite serious. Another side of his personality is his ‘mother hen’ tendencies, which means that he cares very much for the people around him to the point it may start to get on their nerves. He’ll stick his nose in others’ business and likes knowing what is happening.
Side note: It is often not wise telling Leeteuk secrets because he seems slightly incapable of keeping them when he’s around friends.
History: Leeteuk’s power came quite unfortunately at a relatively early age, when he was 12 years old. In the middle of an argument with his parents, he became so worked up that he suddenly started to morph and grow feathers. At the time, he did not have control and was stuck in this half-bird form. Panicked, his parents sent him to a Human research center where he was kept in a cage for further observation. This was a dark period of time in his life, and to this day Leeteuk will say that he remembers very little, although whether or not this is true is debatable. Eventually, it was a Gifted scientist who snuck in and taught him how to train and control his powers, without the knowledge of the human researchers who continued to mistreat him. At last, Leeteuk was able to change into a bird and escape through the windows of the building, traveling blindly until he was incapable of going any further.
Later on, Leeteuk was found by Park Jin Young and taken in under his wing (pun not intended XP). He completed his education at this school and opted to remain there after graduation as a teacher. Since that time, he has changed his name from Park Jungsu (which was the name given to him at birth) to Leeteuk, partially because he wants it to symbolize the discarding of his past and partially because this will make it harder for those scientists to track him down.
Leeteuk is also aware of the existence of Sirius and the possibility that some of its members may remain, although he wants to settle the matter without having to resort to any fighting. Should this organization reappear and try to take control once more, Leeteuk will not hesitate to fight for what he believes
in.
Dislikes: alcohol, not being told things, having non-white bedding, dirtiness,
Views on School Rivalry: In general, Leeteuk isn't particularly concerned with the whole rivalry because honestly, he has nothing against the other school. He has school pride of course, but he certainly wouldn't go out of his way to undermine Kwang Ju...well, unless it was for entertainment, in which case who knows? >_>
